Let me do a quick but long update on Jayden's fever..

Vesak Day! Supposingly to be a good day for fun and laughter BUT... not quite so.. Morning BIL told hubby tat Jayden is veri hot.. But we ignored coz we told could be teething.. Till late afternoon abt 3++pm, we confirmed, he is having a fever... Haiz.. Cursing myself as i left his fever medicine over at the nanny's place... Haiz... As the nanny is out, no choice hubby had to cycle over(with Jayden behind him) to get the medicine at abt 4++...
Evening, cooked some rice with soup for him, after a few mouthful, he start rejecting his meal... Omg... why is all these happening to him... haiz...
Grumpy and veri veri grouchy for the whole day...

Fever shot high to 39.9.. Hubby wake me up and asked if i wan to bring him to kkh.. Told hubby to feed him medicine and monitor...
20.05.08(morning 7++ to 8++am)
Couldn't wait further.. brought Jayden over to KKH to see doc... After long wait, we saw the doc but Jayden was crying and begging... His fear of doctor...
Doctor said to monitor him and to put a urine bag over his there there, for lab test.... Urine bag on(while he struggle, we coaxing...haiz...) and bought him a packet of ribena as advised by the doctor... Went to Women's clinic kopitiam for breakfast since i am hungry... Jayden had some noodles and soup... Proves that he is still eating well thou not much appetite... Good... After breakfast, went back to Children's clinic and continue waiting...
After 1 hr++ of waiting (abt 9++ to 10++ alreadi), nurse called for Jayden to check if he urined.. But nothing came out!! omg... Have to go outside and continue waiting till he pee in the urine bag...
After like 1/2 an hour, FINALLY!!!!!! he pee!! brought him in to remove the urine bag for lab test... Have to go outside the red door and wait somemore.... i hate the long waits...
Wait and wait and wait for abt 1/2 to 1 hr, finally, the doctor called us... No infection in his urine, good sign... But suspect of viral fever... I suspect tat too.... Doctor said if fever doesn't subside in 5 days, Jayden will have to go back for blood test.... He hates doctors.... Doc prescribe normal panadol(liquid type) and brufen...
Go home and the whole day, he is either restless or grumpy... haiz..... The same goes for midnite, the fever still goes up and down...

Yesterday, he has gone over to the nanny's side since me and hubby will haveto go back to work.. Nanny called a few times to say that despite he is playing, but not as active as he used to be.. Keeps wanting ppl to carry, crying and not much appetite... i knew it would happen.. And each time the nanny calls me to report, i wanna cry... my poor boy... Oh ya! i also told the nanny not to let him cry.. Whenever he cries, his fever will go up... No, i dun wan it to happen... I wan the fever to go away!

Today, i guess all the cycle will happen again... grouchy, grumpy, clingy....etc Nothing can stop all his temporay style except after his recovery... yes, he has to recover.. otherwise he will slim down further... head pain to see my boi this way... heart pain....
