I am back.....
With lotsa anger......
i hate him to the core.......
bowling and ot fill his life.... how abt me and Jayden and the upcoming baby???
Contractions, leg pain, swollen ankle, infections fill my nights.... Anyone know??
Guess not....
Tears accompany me thru my sleeps, but he doesn't noe...
Sometimes i wish he is there to help, but he is not.....
I'm tired.....
Below is to Suzhen mummy... Hope my ans can help you to ur qns:
1) Jayden keep falling asleep when feeding him formula milk causing him to only drink around 30ml to 40ml of milk when he normally can drink up to 60ml..
Ans: It is normal for newborn babies to fall aslp during feed.. one way is to tickle him to wake up.. His chin, his face...etc.. Perhaps not the sole of the feet coz old folks says tat tickling boy's sole will coz them to be veri fearful of heights in future... Another way is to shake his bottle a little or turn the bottle bit by bit.. Dun panic.. Slowly try out ways by trial and error...
2) He sleeps lesser and lesser.. How many hours should he sleep when he is only 12days old??
Ans: Comes to slp i cannot help you.. Baby are still new to the environment.. Probably, when he is awake, talk to him.. Educate him or probably show him to the surrounding.. Thou they cannot see clearly yet, they can still hear wad u are saying...
3) His tummy is so big.. I think is alot of air?? Is it he cry to much?? My husband says is cause he sleep too much but i didn't heard of such logic.. Some more he sleeps for like 12hours a day..
Ans: Did you burp him after every feed? Some old folks (like my MIL), claims tat baby's tummy shouldn't be exposed as air will go in... If you fear this, you can get ur mum or dad or ur sibling, go kiddy palace or neighbourhood shop, buy those belly binder, wrap ard his tummy... This is one way... Another way is apply ru yi you... Ru yi you helps to expel wind..
And, did he poo poo everyday, try to let him have a habit of poo poo everyday since formula milk(FM) will coz constipation.. oh! before i forget this, you can try woodgripe water.. Some call it fei zai shui... Those in glass bottle... 1/2 teaspoon will do... Worse come to worse, go pharmacy buy those medicine for colic... 1 - 2 drop(instructions found on the box) into the FM will help..
4) He keeps crying and crying sometimes for dunno y..
Ans: Babies cry for a reason.. Poo poo, pee pee, hungry, sleepy...etc... Now is the time for you to differentiate wad each cry means... Everytime he cry, check ur clock to see if it is time for his milk feed... If it is not, den probably is poo poo or pee pee... If all not, den could be stomach pain pain... I think Mt A. do provide classes to teach parents how to help baby massage.. Go learn and get hang of it... baby massagehelps baby to relax and also relieve wind(applies to qns 3).. At the same time, helps bonding of mummy and baby.. If ever your MIL say he will catch cold by stripping him down till his pampers and do the massage, crap!! This is one great way to show u love your baby!! 5) How do i know if baby is feeling cold or hot??
Ans: i believe some old folks like ur MIL will wrap new born will dumpling like tat .. Same applies to my mum and my MIL but eventually Jayden kick them away, leaving behind his hands and legs exposed.. lolx... In the day, 2 yrs back, my mil will bathe him den let him wear short sleeved tops and shorts den wrap him up in cloth diapers(clean one lar)... Den at nite, he will be in long sleeve and long pants, again wrap in cloth diapers again.. But usually you will see his legs and hands appearing outside the cloth diapers... slowly as weeks past, by afternoon, you will see onli his tummy area is wrapped lar... lolx... But mittens and booties will be worn to prevent his nails scratching his face...
Wrapping a new born is believed to prevent the babies to be duo shou duo jiao... To me, jayden oso now veri duo shou duo jiao.. no diff... This kinda theory is the same as cannot eat crab during pregnancy( i eat like no body biz.. lolx)... So believe it anot is up to individual...
