Let me clarify this, Jayden is a late baby.. Born 40 wks 2 days.. Yes.. 2 days late.. His EDD is supposed to be 25th September 2006, but dragged on 2 more days before i induced him out to see this world.. Grr.. Nottie baby! 25th September 2006, Monday
This lil' fellow chose to stay in the comfortable tummy of my, not wanting to come out.. Haiz.. Nottie fellow.. Trust me to take 2 wks in advance leave to await for your arrival.. Mummy called to ask me to induce him out since he is late and also tell me that Mei Feng jie jie(my cousin)'s fren, in the past had given birth to a baby who is late and inside the mummy's tummy eating his own shit.. This scares me.. Discussed with hubby and decision made! Induce!
26th September 2006, Tuesday
Appt with Dr Yeap, all fine.. healthy and good.. Dilated 1cm.. Argh!! Dr Yeap asked wad is my decision since he is alreadi late.. Told Dr Yeap, induce.. Ok.. Den was told to admit into hospital the next day at 8am, proceed to admission counter to do up the paper works... After tat, went home and koon, get prepared for the veri veri big day...
27th September 2006, Wednesday (the
BIG day)
Woke up 6+ to 7am? Forgot le.. Den went to bathe and do the necessary things.. End up oso late.. Lolx..FIL drove us there. Reached hospital abt 8++am... (not forgetting, since this is our 1st time as parents, we OVER-packed the hospital bags...). By the time the admission paper works..etc are done, alreadi like 9++am? Hehe... Went up to room, and had to get changed into their hospital clothes.. B1 leh... lolx.. A lady came in and asked me what i want for lunch and dinner.. Lolx... So happi.. Forgot wad i ordered but eventually onli had lunch..
Waited and waited and waited for the nurse to come and admit me into the delivery suite.. No one come leh.. End up den noe is coz the delivery suite too mani ppl lar.. Wait lor... Waited until 4++pm to 5+pm den admit into delivery suite...
Once in there, changed into the barebacked dress.. so cold... brrrr.... Put on drip and stripped to the CTG... All i can do it lie and the bed, bear with the pain and wait... AGAIN.... Forgot abt wad time, another doc came in and broke my water bag.. Feels like a gush of urine... lolx... The pain is here to start...
Initially dilated abt 4cm.. Den the bloody old MISSY keep there, "Take epidural lar, you youngster cannot tahan pain one lar... Use epidural lar..." Keep there walking in and out of the room and saying... Irritating... Dun wan use means dun wan use.. I die of pain oso dun wan use! I rather use the gas.. thou of not much use.. Still i made it lor!
Den when i dilate abt 7cm, i got the urge to push le.. Another nurse ask is it that i wanna poo poo.. I sae no no.. i wanna push le! i wanna push le! Den she sae ok ok.. Call doc come... I think one of the malay nurse cut me.. Keep feeling that she push the flesh of there there leh.. Cannot blame.. Jayden head too big lar.. Cannot seem to be able to push him out..
abt 11+pm, Dr Yeap came..(in her home clothes and she said,"juz nice i finish giving my kids spelling" -.-!!!).. Tried pushing Jayden out but head too big lar.. he dun wan come out.. End up, Dr Yeap said to use forcep to get his head out 1st.. Of coz i agree lor.. Wanna pain until i die le, all i wan is to faster get him out!Abt 11.01pm - 11.02pm, 2nd last push, head out with the help of forcep.. Last push, the body came out.. Phew! Finally all out... Time announcement, 11.03pm!
Dr Yeap proceed with the cutting of umbilical cord(hubby had a cut of it, 剪彩！ lolx), drawing of cord blood, stiching me, while the nurse clean Jayden up, weigh(3326g) him and measure his head circumference(34cm) and height(49cm).. Hubby claimed tat he pooed immediately he is placed on the warmer(is it called tat??)... Aiya.. i too tired to bother abt anything..
Dr Yeap said one thing which made me remember till now and i will insist on for Baby Somer... She said,"Go tell all your frenz that you nv used any epidural!" Lolx.. I will still insist on for this delivery..
Oh well, till today, Jayden is loved by mani mani mani... Thou he is mischevious, hyper active and sometimes grumpy.. Yet, we still love him mani mani!
Please forgive me if you think Jayden's birth story is not veri detail.. I've forgotten mani mani parts of it since it is like 2 yrs ago matter... Pardon me hor..
