Little Charmaine, age 4, has been diagnosed with Neuroblastoma

Many will ask, what is Neuroblastoma?
According to wikipedia, Neuroblastoma is the most common extracranial solid
cancer in childhood and the most common cancer in infancy, with an annual incidence of about 650 new cases per year in the US.
[1]Close to 50 percent of neuroblastoma cases occur in children younger than two years old.

neuroendocrine tumor, arising from any
neural crest element of the
sympathetic nervous system or SNS. It most frequently originates in one of the
adrenal glands, but can also develop in nerve tissues in the
neck,
chest,
abdomen, or
pelvis.
Neuroblastoma is one of the few human malignancies known to demonstrate spontaneous regression from an undifferentiated state to a completely
benign cellular appearance.
[3]A disease exhibiting extreme heterogeneity, neuroblastoma is stratified into three risk categories: low, intermediate, and high risk. Low-risk disease is most common in infants and highly curable with observation only or surgery, whereas high-risk disease is difficult to cure even with the most intensive multi-modal therapies available.

Reasons, I am a mummy of 2, when my kids fall ill, even a minor cold, will lead me to worry, not being able to concentrate on my work. Though i am not related to Charmaine, but all the pain she is going through is really unncessary. Probably, some might say, this is a challenge God is giving Charmaine & her family. But, have you ever thought of the pain her family are going through? Heart aching facts.
People, all you need is to do your part, donate some money to her family to help her. They need an initial deposit of SGD$500,000, to let Charmaine offer a treatment in U.S. Below is the chance of survival if she remains in Singapore for treatment and if she goes to U.S. for treatment.
Charmaine’s chances of survival are bleak (10%-20%) if she remains in Singapore for treatment. But with the treatment offered in the U.S., she has a higher chance (40%-50%) to survive this ordeal.Now, Nuffnang is calling

Friends, i really hope you can help. Every kids are our Angel. They are here to teach us how to be parents, guiding them to become what we are now. Their laughters, mischiefs, pain are what we as parents get. Despite a hard day at work, upon reaching back home, hearing their little voices, laughters, seeing their mischief, making us angry, makes it really all worthwhile.
